Q: Are some members also members at local golf clubs?

A: Yes, Tri-Cities of Northeast Tennessee has quite a few members that are members of local clubs. They enjoy the benefits of both.

Q: How do I log on to the members only portion of the EWGA Headquarters website?

A: Type www.ewga.com into your browser address bar. Click the members only section along the left hand side of your browser window. Enter your username and your password. Your username is your EWGA ID# you were issued when you became a member. Your password is initially set as your EWGA ID# followed directly (no spaces) by your first name in lowercase letters.

Q: How do I volunteer on a committe or participate in event planning?

A: Contact us via email and we will contact you concerning your request. The Tri-Cities Chapter has a board consisting of 10 board members, which also have members that assist them with various tasks.

Q:Why should I have an established handicap?

A: We have many events including the Chapter Championship that require an established handicap. It can also help you monitor your game. For more information on the USGA Handicap system, view http://www.usga.org/playing/handicaps/handicaps.html

Q:Where do I go to enter my scores for my handicap?

A: The EWGA uses Golf Life Management to enter in scores. You can access this through the Members Only section at www.ewga.com

Q:Do I have to have a handicap established to participate in the Chapter Championship?

A: Yes. You will want to start entering scores as soon as possible to ensure proper requirements.

Q: If I want to form a scramble team for the Chapter Championship do I still need an established handicap?

A: Yes. Even a scramble team is flighted based on handicap. Team members will be assigned tee boxes according to handicap also.
